Selamat Hari Asyura & Happy 'Lady' Day Wanie...

Dear Gentle Readers,

Today is Hari Asyura i.e. 10 Muharram 1431 & also my 12th year Anniversary being a 'woman'. Mesti korang pelik, apalaaa si Wanie ni merepek. Hahahah actually saya mendapat haid pertama saya pada 10 Muharram 1419 or Thursday, 7 May 1998 semasa saya Form 3.

Cemana boleh ingat?

Sebab dulu saya sekolah asrama (Sekolah Tun Fatimah Johor Bahru from 1996-2000). Nak dijadikan cite masa kat sekolah dulu asal ada je hari yg sunat berpuasa, satu sekolah tu mesti sume org puasa. Nak kata puasa sebab terikut kawan tu bole kata jugak laaa... Sebab tu mcm tradition... Puasa, pastu buka ramai2 kan seronok?

Hehehe anyway, masa tu form 3. Saya pun puasa laaa mcm biasa... Semangat giller. Perasan ada kesan darah kat panties lepas balik sekolah tengahari tu. Masa tu mcm happy giller ke apa? Uhuhuhu akhirnya aku menjadi seorang wanita sejati... Hahaha sebab sebelum tu jealous tgk org lain period (Dalam hati - yeayyy boleh pakai pad yg selalu dapat sample tu; bole x aku pikir camtuh?) In fact sebab selalu sgt dpt sample aku pernah je pakai pad tu (walaupun masa tu belum period lagi) sebab nak tau cemana rasa pakai pad. Weird huh?

Anyways, tahun ni nampaknya x boleh puasa Hari Asyura laa gamaknya... Nak puasa tapi nanti x larat lak. Baby pun dah 37 weeks & 5 days. Kalo baby kuar hari ni menarik juga kan? Bole tambah satu lg significance of Hari Asyura dlm kehidupan saya (",) Heheheh x kisah laaaa bila2 baby nak kuar. Asalkan dia sihat & sempurna sifat dah bersyukur sangat2 kehadrat Allah.

p/s: macam2 peristiwa penting berlaku pada Hari Asyura ni mengikut sejarah Islam. *Imam al-Ghazali menyebut dalam kitabnya Mukasyafatul Qulub bahawa pada tarikh 10 Muharram :

• Terbunuhnya Sayyidina Hussain (cucu Nabi) di Karbala'
• Diterima taubat Nabi Adam a.s.
• Dicipta Adam a.s.
• Dimasukkan Adam a.s ke dalam syurga.
• Dicipta arasy, Kursi, langit, matahari, bulan, bintang-bintang.

• Selamat Nabi Ibrahim daripada api Namrud.
• Selamat Nabi Musa dan pengikutnya.

Kenapa rasa mcm my tummy mengecil ya?

Dear Gentle Readers,

Tak tau laaa kalau ni cuma perasaan saya je, tapi terasa mcm perut saya mengecil...
Rasanya gambar yg diambil masa week 33 pregnant tu perut 3 kali lagi besar.
Adakah sebab baby dah drop sgt so rasa perut cam kecil sebab dia mengendur ke bawah?
Owhhhh saya harap baby ok saje di dalam.
In terms of baby movement, ada je rasa dia gerak from time to time during the day & spt biasa sgt aktif di malam hari.
Hopefully semuanya baik2 saje...

Week 37 Updates

Sangat malas menulis, so point form aje :

• Berat naik 2.2 kg dari check up lepas... Uhuhuhu doctor kata 'awk mkn byk ke skang?' Saya jawab 'Hmmm lebih sikit dari biasa. Asyik lapaaaaar saje!' (tapi sebenarnya x tambah byk pun, cuma suka mkn petang skang e.g. grg pisang, donut, pretzel etc.
• BP OK
• Urine OK
• Baby mmg dh engaged since week 34
• Contraction (BH) makin selalu
• Hidung dah x darah
• Lebih kerap wee wee (mesti bgn malam 3-4 kali sbb after wee pergi togak air mineral balik... hahahah)
• Manja terlebih dgn husband
• Kalau marah or upset je mesti mcm dpt hot flush. Darah panas menyirap naik ke muka & bdn berpeluh2
• Dah x selalu diarrhea mcm minggu2 lepas
• Malas masak
• Malas nak layan kalau org membebel or menyakitkan hati. Mesti cepat2 blah or pasang lagu kuat2 supaya x dengar. Kesian org tuh...
• Perut dah ada stretch mark sikit (Belah bwh... Mula2 x perasan sbb perut atas cantik saja... Tertipuuuuuu)
• Hari Selasa lepas Fairuz ada kasi air & minyak selusuh (makcik belakang rumah dia buatkan)

• What else ya? Hmmm rasanya x sabar nak jumpa baby. Kdg2 rasa mcm dah nak dekat beranak dah. Kdg rasa mcm lambat lagi. Doctor Aziz kata nampak mcm beranak end of the year or early next year. Iskkk harini dah 25 Dec kan? Kejap je lagi... Sabar2...
• Oh ya Wednesday morning (masa check up tu) SQF dah mengadu x sedap badan, diarrhea & skang ni dia asyik ngantuuukkkk saje during the day. Adakah itu petanda saya akn sakit x lama lagi? We'll see

---> My hubby & I have this kinda weird relationship. Biasanya dia akan sakit dulu, then x lama lepas tu saya pulak sakit. As if kite bahagi 2 kesakitan tu... Haaa remember masa I was hospitalised pasal muntah dulu tu? A week before that SQF muntah2, diarrhea & demam teruk. Lepas tu baru saya muntah (",) X tau la, ni based on observation saya je...

How your baby's growing:

Congratulations — your baby is full term! This means that if your baby arrives now, his lungs should be fully mature and ready to adjust to life outside the womb, even though your due date is still three weeks away.

Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. But don't be surprised if your baby's hair isn't the same color as yours. Dark-haired couples are sometimes thrown for a loop when their children come out as blonds or redheads, and fair-haired couples have been surprised by Elvis look-alikes. And then, of course, some babies sport only peach fuzz.

How your life's changing:

Braxton Hicks contractions may be coming more frequently now and may last longer and be more uncomfortable. You might also notice an increase in vaginal discharge. If you see some "bloody show" (mucus tinged with a tiny amount of blood) in the toilet or in your undies, labor is probably a few days away — or less. (If you have heavier spotting or bleeding, call your caregiver immediately.) Also be sure to ask your caregiver about the results of your Group B strep culture. That way, if the result isn't yet on your chart when you get to the hospital or birth center, you'll be able to give the staff there a timely heads-up if you need antibiotics.

It may be harder than ever to get comfortable enough to sleep well at night. If you can, take it easy through the day — this may be your last chance to do so for quite a while. Keep monitoring your baby's movements, too, and let your caregiver know immediately if you notice a decrease. Though her quarters are getting cozy, she should still be as active as before.

While you're sleeping, you're likely to have some intense dreams. Anxiety both about labor and about becoming a parent can fuel a lot of strange flights of unconscious fancy.

Surprising Facts: Signs of labor

There's no way to predict when labor is going to start. Your body actually starts "preparing" for labor up to a month before you give birth. You may be blissfully unaware of what's going on or you may begin to notice new symptoms as your due date draws near.

Here are some things that may happen in the weeks or days before labor starts:

• Your baby drops. If this is your first pregnancy, you may feel what's known as "lightening" a few weeks before labor starts as your baby descends lower into your pelvis. You might detect a heaviness in your pelvis as this happens and notice less pressure just below your ribcage, making it easier to catch your breath.




• You note an uptick in Braxton Hicks contractions. More frequent and intense Braxton Hicks contractions can signal pre-labor, during which your cervix ripens and the stage is set for true labor. Some women experience a crampy, menstrual-like feeling during this time.




• You pass your mucus plug. The mucus plug is the small amount of thickened mucus that blocks the cervical canal leading to your uterus. The plug may come out all at once in a lump, or as increased vaginal discharge over the course of several days. The mucus may be tinged with blood (which may be brown, pink, or red), in which case it may be referred to as "bloody show."




• Your water breaks. Most women start having regular contractions sometime before their water breaks, but in some cases, the water breaks first. When this happens, labor usually follows soon. (If contractions don't start promptly on their own, you'll be induced.) Whether the amniotic fluid comes out in a large gush or a small trickle, call your doctor or midwife.

How can I tell if I'm in false labor or true labor?Sometimes it's very hard to tell false labor from the early stages of true labor. Here are some things that might help you sort it out:

• False labor contractions are unpredictable. They come at irregular intervals and vary in length and intensity. Although true labor contractions may be irregular at first, over time they start coming at regular and shorter intervals, become increasingly more intense, and last longer.




• With false labor, the pain from the contractions is more likely to be centered in your lower abdomen. With true labor, you may feel the pain start in your lower back and wrap around to your abdomen.




• False labor contractions may subside on their own, or when you start or stop an activity or change position. True labor contractions will persist and progress regardless of what you do.

Dear Gentle Readers,

Sepanjang pregnant, below are the list of food & drinks yg saya pernah rasa 'teringin' nak makan. Rasanya x de laaa mengidam ke apa sebab semua nya mudah didapati & x pelik2 sangat. Mostly bende2 yg teringin ni dapat makan right away or paling pun tunggu sehari dua. Nasib baik lah jugak kan, kalau x kesian hubby nak kena cari pulak. Here goes :

• Steak - Dah makan a few times (Wagyu Beef Steak - Jake's, Tony Roma's; Spare Rib - Jake's; Tenderloin - Marciano

• Krispy Kreme - Original Glazed (ni pun countless time)

• Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte (yg ni kena kawal diri, x leh minum selalu)

• Satay Kajang Hj Samuri (SQF x suka... Kesian dia kena bawak jugak)

• Roti Canai Pusing (Homemade - Mother In Law je yg pandai buat... Terima kasih makkk)


• Pau Yik Mun, Tanjung Malim (also Chicken Chop from Yik Mun)

• Chocolate Brownies (Mak Su SQF dah buatkan 2 kali for me... Hehehe sedappp)

Tapi, ada jugak yg teringin nak makan tapi x dapat lagi. Reason being : takut nak bagitau SQF & mak. Kesian mak kalau asyik susahkan dia je. Tapi nak buat cemana, both my MIL & FIL saaaaangatlaaaaaa pandai masak! Sebenarnya nak minta mak masak 'asam pedas ikan mayung' tapi maluuuuuuuuuuuuuu (",)
